PGMEA (Propylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether Acetate) is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid with a distinctive odor. It is an environmentally friendly solvent with multiple functional groups. PGMEA is primarily used as a solvent in inks, paints, printing inks, textile dyes, and textile oils, and it can also be used as a cleaning agent in the production of liquid crystal displays (LCDs).It is flammable and may form explosive vapor/air mixtures at temperatures above 42°C.
